I served my country to the best of my ability. After 9-11, I went in hard core, doing ROTC full-time while enlisted in the national guard. I got injured during a deployment and it’s been a struggle to just do the basic things I never had a problem doing before. I have all these emotions and I feel like I can’t talk to others because they won’t or can’t understand – I am worried about how I will come off. I was watching PBS and it was so immediate – I could hear all those feelings I have in your lyrics and voice. Soldier Hard: you rapped, “the voice for our troops/the voice for all our veterans/I can’t stop now cause I’m kinda like their medicine.” I can’t tell you how right you are – your songs have helped me connect with something I buried. It’s raw and emotional and now that I’ve heard some of your songs – I can’t stop listening. Thank you for everything your doing because you’ve helped me more than I could convey over the internet. Thank you so much and let God Bless you, yours and the country we’ve fought and bled for.
Sincerely
Mat

I was very moved by your music and artistic expression of your feelings. I am a VA nurse now and see the pain everyday of soldiers with PTSD. Medical personnel have their issues with PTSD after serving because they see so many physical injuries when at war and the aftermath when they return of physical and emotional trauma.

Thanks for everything. Your music helps everyone in special ways. For me it motivates me to push by body physically. It also reminds me why I do what I do. I just wanted to start out by saying thank you for everything you do. I completely support the US Military 100%. I'm glad there are people that have the strength to fight for and defend this country. I know I'm only 17 so I don't truly understand everything, but I've been waiting to join the US Army since 5th grade, so I'm stoked to finish school. I don't want to just want to be one of the people who stands up for what they believe in, I want to jump and reach for the skies instead. Again, thank you for all that you do in defending this country and making this awesome music.

This music and all of the other music that soldier make is the best that there is. All of you speak the truth in your songs and have very important messages behind them. It so nice to hear people know people make music to speak the truth and talk about real life situations instead of only wanting to make money and putting alot of things out in their songs that are irrelevent to reality and serve no purpose except to make money and make asses out of them selves. I am soo glad and thankful that there are people like you Soldier Hard who make music for the truth and to help other people through rough times and to help keep their morale up and look forward and to push through the hard times. Thank you and all veterans for your service it is highly appreciated.

World is so ignorant and its scarce to hear about the affects of war. Its usually kept on the low as people feel they have to suffer in silence, be it veterans, troops, wives, girlfriends and children. Your Voice is heard by all those suffering, you give them all a voice, you help them say 'Yes, we are here!'. I don't go one day without playing your tracks, they make me feel alive, they help me remember who I am today for who I was yesterday. A military girlfriend. My soldier gave his life for what he believed in and he is never too far thanks to your music. Nuff love Soldier Hard.
